From Durban at sea level, we’re going to take you way, way up the highest, most challenging vehicle pass in the country to the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho, and treat you to a lunch at the highest pub in the world! We’re in the heart of the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains, a vast World Heritage Site, not only proclaimed such for its extreme beauty, but also for the historic 2 000 year old San – better known as bushman - paintings found in a Cave. It’s a gentle walk to the Cave, once home to South Africa’s earliest inhabitants...and for those who enjoy hiking, we’ve allocated time for you to pursue your hobby in these exquisite surroundings. On Day Four, our return trip to Durban is via the lush, green Midlands Meander region, filled with quality arts and crafts enterprises, and we’ll certainly stop off there for a little local shopping
