Port ElizabethKnysna Oudtshoorn Cape Town

From the moment we depart the Friendly City of Port Elizabeth, you’ll see and feel the changing landscape…and why we call it The Garden Route. Our leisurely journey takes us through the cool, calming Tsitsikamma National Park, the charming coastal town of Knysna with it’s well established fine arts and crafts centre, glorious lagoon and sandstone ‘Heads’ standing sentry where the lagoon meets the sea, via ferry to the Featherbed Nature Reserve set at the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon. Then we’re off to Oudtshoorn, dubbed the feather capital of the world. If you haven’t heard or read about the Cango Caves, prepare for something extraordinary. Their magnificent dripstone formations of stalactites and stalagmites, are an awe-inspiring natural creation, and we’ll be standing right inside them. Depending on the season, our return to Cape Town will either involve a gentle drive along the coast at Hermanus, so we can catch a glimpse of Southern Right whales frolicking off shore; or, we’ll take you via the scenic Route 62. Feathers to fine art to forests, our Garden Route Splendour tour gives you a little of everything you’ll like best!
